Webster-Wilkinson began manufacturing high-voltage porcelain insulated bushings in 1966. Produced in accordance with British and Industry Standards the company supplied such well-known companies
as Bonar Long and Peebles Transformers of Scotland, South Wales Transformers and GEC, Babcock transformers, Brush Transformers and Lindley Thompson in England.

Towards the end of the 1960's the product range grew to include the BEBS T2 outdoor bushing range approved at that time by the CEGB -
the Central Electricity Generating Board.

In 1968 the Company began to export products - initially to Africa and then on to the Middle East and Far East.

Over the years the Company grew by acquisition, purchasing a non-ferrous foundry, a fabrication company, a gasket cutting company and an Electro-plating works. The Company also bought out competitors in the manufacture of off-circuit rotary tap changers.

Today the Company is well established in purpose built premises and remains at the forefront of high-voltage electrical design and manufacture.
