Towards the end of the 1960's the product range grew to include the BEBS T2 outdoor bushing range approved at that time by the CEGB - the Central Electricity Generating Board.
In 1968 the Company began to export products - initially to Africa and then on to the Middle East and Far East.
Over the years the Company grew by acquisition, purchasing a non-ferrous foundry, a fabrication company, a gasket cutting company and an Electro-plating works. The Company also bought out competitors in the manufacture of off-circuit rotary tap changers.
Today the Company is well established in purpose built premises and remains at the forefront of high-voltage electrical design and manufacture.
